2 Simple Methods for Bigger Arms

2 tickets to gun show how to get bigger armsBig arms are super impressive on a lean guy.  It’s not every day that you see a guy with shredded abs and arms the size of his head.

The problem is that a lot of guys try to make their arms grow 24/7.  Some fail.  The ones who don’t fail are usually too fat to have abs.

Like me, you’ve probably seen some impressive arms in your day.  Guys like Dan Trink, John Berardi, and John Romaniello have the biggest arms I’ve seen on a natural guy; and they’re all lean.  These guys are impressive.

Here are two simple tips to make your arms grow large enough to keep the sleeves on your t-shirt fitting tight and snug around your guns.

Antagonist Super Drop Sets (ASDS)

ASDS are the bee’s knees.  They’re great for filling your muscles with blood, giving you such a huge pump that it feels like your skin is going to tear.  These are the pumps that would make Arnold cream his jeans.  Here’s how to do them:

  1. Pick an isolation exercise for the biceps, and then another isolation exercise for the triceps.
  2. Choose a weight for these exercises that you can do for 12-15 reps.
  3. Starting with the biceps exercise, do as many reps as possible.  Lower under control.
  4. Without resting, do the same with the triceps exercise.
  5. Without resting at all, keep going back and forth between your biceps and triceps exercise until you cannot even do 1 rep at all.

ASDS are great to finish off an arm workout, and are fantastic for building big guns.

Adequate Muscular Tension Over a Full Range of Motion

Thanks to Brad Schoenfeld, we have scientific proof that muscular tension is conducive to hypertrophy.  With that being said, you want your muscles to stay under tension under a full range of motion.  This means that you need to learn how to flex your muscle no matter where it is in space.

For example, when training the biceps, you will want to learn how to flex them when your elbow is fully bent, when your arm is fully straight, and everything in between.  Never stop flexing it with each rep.  If you touched it with your other hand, it would always feel hard.

Practice keeping tension in the muscle, and it’ll start to grow like weeds.

Bonus Tip: Learn From Lean Guys with Huge Arms

As mentioned above, Dan Trink, John Berardi, and John Romaniello are all lean guys with stellar arm development.  Obviously, they know how to build impressive arms.  If you want to learn specifically how to build bigger arms, then read their stuff.

Fortunately, my brother from another mother, Dan Trink (number 19 on the top for fitness pros in 2013), has written a stellar 1 month arm specialization program designed to build big and freaky arms.  The thing I like best about the program is that he designed it similar to Decembulk in that you work hard for a month straight, then take a week or two off and grow via super-compensation.  On the plus side, his ebook cover is absolutely spectacular (big ups to my girlfriend who designed it).

Luckily, it’s on sale for $22.22 this week only.  Grab it while you can.  I think it’s a great complement to Decembulk and is fun as hell.  Click here to learn more about Dan Trink’s 2 Tickets to the Gun Show (Just to give you a heads up, this is an affiliate link.  If you buy the product, I will make a commission.  Buying this product will not only give you huge arms, but will support me so I can afford to keep providing you with free information on this blog.  Also, this product has the JMax Fitness Seal of Approval).
